GENERAL INFORMATION
Please ensure you have your passport with you; entry without it is not permitted. Individuals who provided only their ID card must also bring it for admission.
Q: When can we expect the distribution of the boarding passes?
A: To be confirmed (TBC).
Q: What is covered in the package?
A: You can find details about the course fee here.
Q: Are transfers included?
A: No. Please note that MedCruise does not cover transfer and accommodation expenses before and after the PDC.
MEALS
The locations for all meals will be confirmed and provided in your boarding passes.
Q: How can we communicate any food allergies?
A: There are two ways to proceed:
- Passengers can notify the cruise crew about their specific allergies, on board.
- Passengers can also communicate their allergies by sending an email to the provided address upon receiving the boarding pass. This ensures that appropriate dietary options can be arranged to accommodate everyone’s needs.
DRESS CODE
Q: Is there an established dress code in place?
A: For evening dinners, dress code information will be provided in the boarding pass document, if any. For the working sessions, we recommend a business-casual attire. For the walking tours, day before embarkation (Genoa) and the second day (La Spezia), dress comfortably and wear suitable shoes, keeping in mind the winter weather conditions.
LUGGAGE
Q: Are there any restrictions on luggage?
A: Details are provided in the boarding pass document.
Q: When can we expect our luggage in the cabin?
A: For those with hand luggage (10 kg suitcase), you can pass the security check and bring it with you to your cabin. If you have larger luggage or prefer not to carry your hand luggage, you can leave it at the terminal. Approximately 1-2 hours after check-in, you will find it in front of your cabin.
Q: What time and location is designated for luggage drop-off?

Q: Where is the MedCruise Team staying?
A: Hotel Melia Genova.
The guided tour will consist in a walking tour of about 1 hour and 15 minutes, from the Hotel Melia Genova 19:00 to the Ristorante I Tre Merli Porto Antico
Q: Is the participation in the tour mandatory?
A: No, it is voluntary.
Q: What if I arrive late for the tour?
A: You have the option to join us during the tour or proceed directly to the restaurant where we will gather for dinner.

Shore Excursion in La Spezia | Tuesday 16th January
Q: Considering we need to be at the terminal by 8:30, at what time does breakfast start?
A: Breakfast begins at 6:30.
Q: Is the attendance compulsory?
A: Yes, please refer to the programme for details.
Disembarkation in Naples | Wednesday 17th January
Q: What is the scheduled arrival time of the cruise ship in Naples?
A: TBC (information available in the boarding pass) We have been told around 13:00.
Q: When is the earliest permissible time for disembarkation?
A: Once the ship has arrived.
Q: Where is the check-out located?
A: At the reception.
Q: When will the luggage be available for retrieval, and where?
