Flamenco Agency is a platform that promotes artists, shows and knowledge on the art of flamenco at an international level. It presents large ballets, small groups and artists (of both traditional and avant-garde aesthetics) in all disciplines: dance, singing and toque (playing), as well as other styles such as the use of various instruments (piano, percussion, etc). As a multidisciplinary agency, it organises worldwide tours for the most renowned Spanish flamenco artists.

Flamenco Agency presents proposals of the highest artistic quality to international stages, has been programmed in important festivals around the world, collaborating with some of the most prestigious venues and opera houses. Flamenco Agency is specialised in the distribution of the best flamenco ballets in Spain, and consequently, in the world. We have also placed the best flamenco ballets onboard of cruises, shore excursions and special events.

As a result of its commitment to the cruise sector, Flamenco Agency maintains a consortium and concerted actions with MedCruise and CLIA. Simultaneously, we attend annually to SeaTrade Cruise Global in Miami, SeaTrade Europe and the International Cruise Summit in Madrid.

History

Flamenco Agency has lots of experience performing on board of cruises, both in ports, before sailing, and during sailing. We have collaborated with the most luxurious cruise lines, such as: Silversea, Azamara, Cunard, Hapag-Lloyd, Scenic, Ponant, The World, Princess, Holland America Line,  Carnival, Costa, Tauck, Fred. Olsen and Star Clippers. Flamenco Agency also provides Authentic Experiences in Spain and Portugal (shore excursions). The Iberian Peninsula offers something unique and we would like to help you to understand and learn from our cities. We would like to become your entertainment partner in Spain, Portugal and surrounding islands, in order to enrich your land programmes and excursions.

Philosophy

The vision of Flamenco Agency is to elevate and place Flamenco within the highest category of the performing arts. In fact, in its more than fifteen years of experience, it has given value to this artistic and popular discipline that constitutes to the most representative identity of the Andalusian and Spanish culture. Apart from that, Flamenco Agency presents proposals of the highest artistic quality to international stages. These proposals are based on the knowledge of the flamenco shows that are produced and premiered in Spain, both in the Flamenco Art Biennial of Sevilla and in the Jerez Flamenco Festival.

Flamenco Agency represents Flamenco Ballets in Barcelona, Madrid, Granada, Malaga, Seville and artists in Palma de Mallorca, Formentera, Las Palmas, Lanzarote, Seville, Cadiz, Funchal or Lisbon in order to desing tours in a very maningful ecological way, covering several locations and venues geographically, improving both the conditions of art workers involveed in touring and the social & economic sustainability. Therefore, we try to place our artists considering the proximity of the port and the CO2 emissions. We have been collaborating with several programs to purchase verified emission reductions in order to compensate the gas emissions of our flights. Our aim is offsetting the CO2 emissions created by our staff and artists while touring around the globe. Flamenco Agency acknowledges the existence of climate change and contributes to looking after our planet. Whenever possible, we limit emissions, conserve water, use renewable energy sources and move toward zero waste, and recycle.

Flamenco Agency is specialised in the distribution of the best flamenco ballets in Spain, and consequently, in the world, such as the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet (official ballet of the Andalusian government) or the Barcelona Flamenco Ballet. Additionally, Flamenco Agency promotes both traditional shows (such as Carmen or Flamenco Suite), as well as avant-garde and contemporary flamenco art, bailaores (dancers), cantaores (singers), guitarists and pianists. Moreover, thanks to the flexibility and adaptability of Flamenco Agency's tailor-made proposals, we have also organised corporate event shows for companies such as Hewlett-Packard and for the Royal House of Spain. Flamenco Agency has been programmed in important festivals around the world, such as the Gent Festival of Flanders, Ljubljana Festival or Bangkok's International Festival of Music and Dance. Similarly, it has collaborated with some of the most prestigious venues and opera houses, such as the National Center for the Performing Arts Opera House in Beijing (NCPA), Shanghai International Dance Center Grand Theatre (SIDC), Aga Khan Museum (Canada), or the Teatro Campoamor de Oviedo (Spain).
