History
Scandinavian Near East Agency S.A. (SNEAL) has provided for over a century high quality services, preserving the distinctive features that have defined its reputation—a commitment rooted in the vision of its founder, Eugene Eugenides. Originally founded in Constantinople in 1907 by Eugene Eugenides, the agency faced challenges such as the Asia Minor catastrophe and subsequent events, leading to Eugene’s relocation to the Port of Piraeus.
By 1925, SNEAL had evolved into one of the largest agencies in Greece, with its base in Piraeus and multiple sub-agencies. The legacy of the agency’s founder was carried forward by Nicolas Vernicos-Eugenides and Eugene Eugenides. Today, SNEAL continues its operations, guided by the enduring values and business ethics established by its founders.
