The 38th General Assembly of MedCruise -the collective body of Mediterranean ports serving the cruise industry- started yesterday Thursday 2nd of June with the participation of 108 delegates from Mediterranean ports and cruise companies.
The participating ports represent all countries of Mediterranean as well as countries from the Black and Red Seaarea. The cruise companies participating are MSC Royal Caribbean Louis Group Holland American Line Norwegian Cruise Line Pullmantur V-
Ships.
Following the official opening of the General Assembly this morning at 9 a.m. by the Minister of Maritime Affairs Islands & Fisheries Mr Giannis Diamantidis the Deputy Minister of Culture & Tourism Mr. George Nikitiades and the President and Managing Director of Piraeus Port Authority SA Mr. Yiorgos Anomeritis a press conference was offered by the President of MedCruise Mr. Giovanni Spadoni the Secretary General Mr. Jose Campos the Vice President Ms. Carla Salvadó and the representative of the Hellenic MedCruise Port of Piraeus Mr. Stavros Hatzakos Director of Administration of PPA SA.
