The new cruise terminal of Cagliari Cruise Port opening ceremony was held on the 21st of July. MedCruise MedCruise President Kristijan Pavic was among the esteemed guests of Cagliari Cruise Port that celebrated this major development in the MedCruise member port. Prior to the Opening Ceremony,. MedCruise President participated on the roundtable discussion on issues of sustainable tourism and development opportunities for cruise industry in southern Sardinia.
The new cruise terminal covers an area of 10.000 square metres in total within the port of Cagliari while the covered area measures 1.000 square meters. The latter is a fully private investment of almost €1.000.000, partly financed from Cagliari Cruise Port Ltd and partly from the European Fund JESSICA (Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas).
