The 8th edition of Cruise Excellence Awards was celebrated under the auspices of MedCruise, on February 19th, in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain.
The event was organised by Cruises News Media Group and attended by 200 cruise and tourism industry professionals.
Carla Salvadό, MedCruise President and Marketing & Cruise Director of the Barcelona Port Authority, received the award for the ‘Best Spanish Port’ on behalf of the Port of Barcelona.
The Port of Venice, which also forms part of MedCruise Association, won the ‘Best Mediterranean Port & Destination’ award.
Among the Cruise Line winners Pullmantur received the awards for ‘Best Crew’ and ‘Best Popular Company’, while Costa Cruises won the ‘Best Brand recognition from Travel Agents’ and ‘Best image and Marketing’ awards.

• Best Mediterranean Port & Destination: VENICE
