Cruise tο Portofino !
Portofino is located in the Ligurian Riviera, about 40 km from Genova, and it is considered one the prettiest places in the world and one of the most famous harbours. Also as the resort of the rich and famous, it is the place to be seen.
It’s a typical half-moon shaped fisherman village with beautiful pastel houses around the small harbour with just over 400 permanent residents. But that all changes during the summer when the sun is shining and yachts, mega yachts and cruise ships start coming.
There are a lot of restaurants, bars, pizzerias, focaccerias, grocery shops. But also a variety of jewellery shops, art galleries and high end clothing stores. It’s a very appealing place, the square, the harbour, the architecture… Cruisers love Portofino. It’s a great destination for cruisers.
Cruisers in Portofino spend most of the day strolling around, sitting in cafes in the little square along the harbour and exploring its little back-streets with many shops, specialising in lace and other fabrics. Walk up on the hill overlooking the port for a spectacular view.
