Cruise tο Toulon-Var Provence !

Toulon nestles between mountain and sea in what is considered the most beautiful, widest and best sheltered bay in Europe, protecting the port from prevailing winds and offering accessibility in all weather conditions, making Toulon the most reliable alternative in the French Med.

The port is very secure thanks to the presence of the French Navy and offers excellent facilities able to accommodate the world’s largest ships:

• TOULON DOWNTOWN Terminal – at the heart of the city centre allows the guests and crew to easily reach the promenade along the marina with its many restaurants and cafes, the main shopping-mall (Mayol with its 100 boutiques), the old medieval quarter and its picturesque Provencal street market (the biggest one in Provence), its fountains, shady squares, chic quarter from Baron Haussmann including the impressive Opera, its museums and monuments.

• LA SEYNE cruise terminal and its brand-new Terminal (opposite side of the bay, in front of Toulon downtown) with an exclusive shuttle boat service to reach Toulon city centre by a scenic crossing through the bay (10 minutes).

• LE PALAIS DU COMMERCE ET DE LA MER (PCM) downtown Toulon can be considered as a third terminal, this venue being dedicated to organise the reception of cruise guests when ships are at the anchor.

Its facilities combined with a high standard reception quality (CRUISE FRIENDLY hospitality label – Seatrade Insider Awards Marketing initiative of the year finalist 2017) and unique experience for cruise guests: multilingual reception staff providing tourist information and complimentary souvenirs, a Provencal mini-market inside the terminal, etc. Chill-Out Heaven in the Med, within minutes of stepping ashore, the guests can relax in beautiful natural scenery and enjoy the white sandy beaches of Toulon Bay for a hassle-free day of ‘me’ time away from the crowd.

At the same time, its strategic position as the ideal gateway to both Provence & French Riviera offers a wide range of shore excursions: in brand name places such as St-Tropez, Aix-en-Provence or in some off-thebeaten track places including other must-see excursions such as Sanary, Le Castellet, Bormes-les-Mimosas, etc. With 80% of the cruise guests welcomed in VAR PROVENCE, Toulon is the leading port of the network. (Seatrade Insider Award ‘Port of the Year’ finalist 2013!)
