At mentioning “Egyptian Ports”, the first idea that comes to one’s mind is “History” for these ports have witnessed many historical events of wars and victories from Ptolemy’s era, passing by the World War 2 ,ending with the contemporary history wars and all the monuments that were left over those great events.
Now Egyptian Ports are taking serious steps towards adapting “New Policy” in investment attractions especially in the field of shipping by offering more incentives for the ships that call them including reducing taxes and provided services fees, which in return have encouraged many cruise ships to contract with various shipping agencies to include Egyptian Ports on the itinerary of their voyages. Moreover, it has encouraged to launch an advertising campaign under the title of: “Egyptian Ports: Ancient history and New Policy”
The first ad will be about Salamis Filoxenia cruise that will arrive next month Port of Alexandria on 19th October and will stay for two days within a schedule to visit the city sight seeing and have a short trip to Cairo. The cruise ship carries 350 passengers and will leave on 20th October evening. It is worth mentioning here the important role of the tripartite partnership (Egypt- Cyprus-Greece) and the bilateral cooperation between both government Egypt and Greece.
