The Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum 2025
The 8th Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum will take place in Heraklion, Crete, on May 6-7, 2025. As Greece’s largest island and a key cruise destination, Crete continues to experience strong growth, with over 225 cruise ship calls expected in Heraklion in 2025.
The event will bring together cruise line executives, industry decision-makers, and key stakeholders to discuss crucial topics such as sustainability, overcrowding, new destination development, port infrastructure, and green practices. A major debate will focus on the role of the cruise industry in managing over-tourism and promoting emerging destinations.
The Forum’s exhibition floor will serve as a hub for networking and showcasing new infrastructure projects and investments. MedCruise will have its own stand at the event: Stand A03, reinforcing its active role in shaping the future of cruise tourism in the Mediterranean.
