One of the latest services from the French Riviera cruise club is the tourist information guide specially designed for crew members. The crew represents at least 20% of the ship’s capacity and 80% of them leave the ship to explore the city by themselves which has a considerable economic impact.
When the cruise ships calling in our French Riviera ports of Cannes, Nice and Villefranche sur mer, crew members can take advantage of this personalized guide to locate places that cater for their specific needs within walking distance of the port. This new service adds to the range of tourist information created by the French Riviera cruise club for the cruise passengers in order for them to discover all the different flavors of our destination.
This includes the FRCC web site www.frcc.fr, smartphone application, tourist information sheets with all the potential of sightseeing from each port. While it is obviously important to provide the best welcome to cruise passengers, we must also look after the satisfaction of the crew, who are after all some of the cruise destination’s best ambassadors.
