On Tuesday, June 17th, more than 4.000 cruise passengers of both ships in the bay of Cannes, MSC Sinfonia and Serenade of the Seas, were greeted with “sensation” in Cannes.
For 5 consecutive years, the French Riviera Cruise Club and its partners (the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, the city of Cannes, the different merchant associations Meynadier – Forville, Galeries Lafayette of Cannes, the Palais of Festival) organize a specially dedicated “Sensational welcome day”.
To make all the cruise passengers from different nationalities, feel welcome and encourage them to explore the city, various happenings have been organised such as music, French cancan dancers, free workshop of scents from Fragonard, free portraits workshop by a local artist Sylvie T, an open desk of the famous Galeries Lafayette department store, various food tastings offered by the local merchants that displayed the beautiful colors of that day…
…and much more, so that the cruise passengers would leave Cannes with various pleasant memories!
