Lisbon Recognized as Europe’s Best Cruise Destination
The Lisbon Cruise Port has once again been crowned as Europe’s Best Cruise Terminal, while the city of Lisbon has been named Europe’s Best Cruise Destination at the prestigious 4th annual World Cruise Awards, held in Funchal, Madeira.
This is the second time the Lisbon Cruise Port has received this accolade, having previously won in 2022. Renowned for its world-class facilities and seamless integration with Lisbon’s iconic cityscape and the Tagus River, the terminal surpassed strong competition from top cruise ports in Barcelona, Oslo, Valletta, and Amsterdam.
In addition to this milestone for the terminal, the city of Lisbon also celebrates its second title as Europe’s Best Cruise Destination, following a first win in 2021. This recognition solidifies Lisbon’s reputation as a premier cruise destination, surpassing other celebrated cities like Athens, Barcelona, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Rome, and Nice.
The awards reflect Lisbon’s exceptional ability to welcome cruise visitors with world-class facilities, cultural richness, and stunning vistas. These honours are a testament to the city’s commitment to providing unparalleled experiences for cruise travellers from around the globe.
