MedCruise and Seatrade renew three-year marketing and promotional services deal

MedCruise, the Association of Mediterranean and adjoining seas Cruise Ports, and Seatrade Cruise signed yesterday a renewal of their marketing and promotional services contract in London.

The deal extends to September 2021, and marks over two decades that the two organisations have partnered together to promote the cruise business in the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Red Sea, Adriatic Sea, North Africa and near Atlantic to the wider cruise community.

Mary Bond, Group Director Seatrade Cruise said: ‘We are delighted to be extending the long-standing collaboration between our business and MedCruise which goes back to when the Association was formed in 1996. Through our portfolio of events, forums, print and digital publishing, Seatrade Cruise provides a platform to bring the global cruise industry together to learn and grow.’

Airam Díaz Pastor, president MedCruise commented: ‘By working in partnership with Seatrade Cruise, MedCruise’s profile is significantly enhanced at key cruise events in the US, Europe and Asia and throughout the year via print, digital and social content activity; which is part of our strategy to promote our members and cruise activities in the Mediterranean and the adjoining seas.’

As part of the new deal, Seatrade will produce and distribute to its exclusive database of cruise line executives and cruise travel agents, the bi-annual MedCruise News – showcasing latest information about member ports and destinations, plus two editions of a print and digital e-book Membership Directory – providing port and tourist infrastructure of each member and associates.

Other elements include MedCruise digital and print advertising and news content in Seatrade Cruise Review and Seatrade Cruise News, which is also shared across social channels, plus opportunities for presentations and sponsorship activities at Seatrade events around the world.

In 2019, MedCruise will be exhibiting at Seatrade Cruise Global taking place between 8-11th April in Miami where Airam Diaz Pastor will also be giving a presentation on April 9th. MedCruise will also be attending Seatrade Europe in Hamburg between 11-13th September and is sponsor of the Environmental Initiative of the Year Award at the Seatrade Cruise Awards 2019.

MedCruise is also a partner of  Seatrade Cruise Med taking place in Malaga between 15-17th September, 2020.
