The Brindisi Cruise Terminal is now officially open and has successfully docked the cruise ship MSC Magnifica.
MedCruise Secretary General Thanos Pallis was among the keynote speakers of the official grand opening ceremony of the Brindisi Cruise terminal that welcomed its first ship, M/V MSC Magnifica during her maiden call. The ceremony took place at 9.30 a.m. on Monday, April 13th, 2015.
The brand new cruise terminal houses ticketing and baggage facilities, a Customs and Border Protection Area, and security operations.
The establishment of the cruise terminal exert positive functions on helping Brindisi become the international maritime center in Southern Italy as well as strengthening the comprehensive competitiveness of the Apulian Ports.
The Cruise Terminal is a high-tech facility which is geared towards enhancing Brindisi’s cruise product.
The project was developed by the Port Authority of Brindisi, which has the portfolio for cruise marketing and port development.
