The inaugural meeting of the Pan-European dialogue between cruise operators, ports and coastal tourism stakeholders, held in Brussels, 5-6 March, 2015, has reached several valuable conclusions.
Cooperation was the word mostly used throughout the sessions, and where the most important conclusion reached was that competition and cooperation should coexist to guarantee sustainable cruise tourism for Europe.
MedCruise actively participated in the discussions leading to this event, as well as at the several sessions of the event.
The Association representing cruise ports in the Med and its adjoining seas is now looking forward to work with the European Institutions, Cruise Lines and other stakeholders in order to promote the sustainable growth of cruise activities in the Med and beyond.
