The Port of Gruž is an international maritime passenger port of the City of Dubrovnik which currently holds 10th position in the world and 3rd position in the Mediterranean market among transit cruise port destinations. In the year 2013 the Port of Gruž has realized cruise traffic of 692 cruise ship calls bringing 1.086.925 cruise passengers. Also the Port of Gruž due to its size and international significance in passenger traffic represents a port of special economic interest for the Republic of Croatia.
Given the attractive location and constant growth of the number of passengers, the port of Gruž foresees the construction of a passenger terminal for embarkation and disembarkation of passengers with accompanying facilities such as shopping mall, commercial garage facility and the construction of a bus terminal. The Port Authority of Dubrovnik (as the managing authority of the Port of Gruž) wishes to issue a concession for the economic use of common good – maritime domain at the Port of Dubrovnik- Gruž to interested investors. The subject of concession would be construction and management of facilities and land port area of the concessioned maritime domain with total surface of 25.096 m2.
The formal procedure of public tendering for described concession begins [29th], by publishing a notice on the intention of concession issuance within the Electronic Public Procurement Classifieds.
