On November 30th, the cruise ship Saga Sapphire called at the Southern dock of the Port of Huelva with 1,000 people on board.
The 199 mt cruise vessel left Lisbon with nearly 600 passengers originally coming from Britain and other European countries and a crew of more than 400 people. She docked at the South Quay at 09.00 and did not leave until 17.00 heading to Santander – according to the company Bergé consignee.
Around half of the passengers decided to go on shore excursions to El Rocio, Doñana, Rio Tinto mines, as well as Seville, while the rest preferred to stay and visit the beautiful city of Huelva.
