Celebrity Silhouette First Call at Porto Cruise Terminal

Celebrity Silhouette was on her 9-day round trip through Portugal, Spain and France from Southampton also visiting Vigo, A Coruña, Bilbao, La Rochelle and Le Havre. Has arrived at the Porto Cruise Terminal with 2.533 passengers on board, mostly British, served by 1.155 crew members.

Celebrity Silhouette is a Solstice-class cruise ship operated by Celebrity Cruises, a subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Group.  The 122.210 GT-vessel is 319 metres in length overall and has a beam of 36.8 metres.  On 29 May 2011, the ship was floated out from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg and was delivered to Celebrity Cruises on 18 July 2011.

A Plaque Exchange Ceremony with Port Authorities and the ship’s Captain was held at the Porto Cruise Terminal Air Bridge to acknowledge this first visit of the ship.

Porto Cruise Terminal welcomed Silver Whisper on Portugal Freedom Day

Silver Whisper arrived at Leixões with 266 passengers on board, mainly North Americans, who were on a 16-night one-way trip from Athens to Bordeaux. This itinerary also includes visits to Syracuse, La Valetta, Malaga, Gibraltar, Seville, Lisbon, La Coruña and Bilbao.

Silver Whisper is a 186 metres luxury cruise ship launched in 2001 for Silversea Cruises – Royal Caribbean Group.
