The French Riviera Cruise Club participated in the national “Fete de la Gastronomie” (23rd to 25th September) www.fete-gastronomie.fr.
Events are being organised for the second consecutive year. Following Villefranche in 2015, this year it was the turn of the ports of Cannes and Nice to celebrate gastronomy on 24th September.
In Cannes :
Thanks to a partnership with the brand LADURÉE (member of the FRCC), passengers of ships calling into Cannes (‘Brilliance of the Seas’ and ‘Star Flyer’) discovered and tasted the famous macaroons.
In Nice :
The French Riviera Cruise Club offered the hotel and catering manager of the cruise ship ‘Club Med 2’ with a collection of recipes by 11 local chefs, including Jacques Chibois, Stéphane Arnal, Michel Devillers, Alain Llorca and José Orsini.
