The Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has been named a finalist in the “Best Atlantic Port in Europe” category at the Cruceroadicto 2024 Awards, recognising excellence in the cruise industry. This prestigious award highlights the contributions of ports, cruise lines, and ships as recognised by travellers.
The port shares this distinction with the Port of Lisbon, also a MedCruise member, and the Port of Reykjavik, two key players in the cruise sector. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, 23rd January, at 16:00 in the Fitur Cruises Auditorium (Hall 4, FITUR Madrid), as part of the international tourism fair. Representing the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife at the event will be Pedro Suárez López de Vergara, President of the Port Authority, alongside other port representatives.
On behalf of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, warm congratulations are extended to the Port of Lisbon and all finalists. This recognition reflects a shared commitment to the growth and excellence of cruise tourism in the Atlantic region. The port looks forward to celebrating this achievement at FITUR Cruises and continuing to strengthen its position in the global cruise industry.
