Tangier City Port welcomed on April 7th three renowned cruise ships namely:
- MS ZUIDERDAM. first Vista-class cruise ship belonging to Holland America Line and named after the southern cardinal point of the compass rose
- MS SIRENA belonging to Oceania Cruises
- SILVER DAWN a luxury cruise ship belonging to Silversea
The arrival of more than 20 cruises in April 2023 and on April 7th of 3 ships on the same day at Tangier City Port shows the resumption of cruises in the Mediterranean and the beginning of the high season. This is an opportunity for the Pearl of the Straits and its region to showcase the excellence of our territories. Thus, cruise passengers had the opportunity to discover the city of Tangier and its region and to enjoy the rich Moroccan culture. The feedback from residents, taxi drivers, travel agencies, and bazaars to the numerous calls have been positive and were pleased to see the return of cruise ships at Tangier.
