Josep Tarradellas – Barcelona – El Prat Airport, is the main international gateway to Catalonia.
Tarragona is a city located approximately 80 km south of Barcelona.
You can get to Tarragona with the following means of public transport:
By train
Note: There are no direct trains to or from Barcelona Airport
Barcelona Airport Terminal 2 – Rodalies to Barcelona Sants
In Barcelona Sants – Trains and High-Speed AVE, continuous throughout the day.
*Train arrives in Tarragona at the Tarragona Central Station, a 10-minute walk from the Hotel H10 (main hotel)
*AVE (high speed train) arrives in Tarragona at the Camp de Tarragona Station – You must take other transportation to the Hotel (taxis and buses available at the exit)
By taxi / cab
The journey takes approximately one hour, and they are available outside the airport exits – Approximate price: 185€
By bus
BusPlana is the official transport for transfers from Barcelona Airport to Tarragona and the entire Costa Daurada
- AIRPORT BARCELONA / TARRAGONA:
- The bus arrives and depart at Terminal -1 (Lower platforms 7 to 11) and in the Terminal -2 between Terminal 2B and 2C.

To return to Barcelona Airport, use the same means, but in reverse. There are no other alternative or additional means.
